Technical Aptitude Assessment with Candidate Report

This 10-minute online assessment measures practical reasoning through short spatial (3 min), mechanical (3 min) and diagrammatic (4 min) tests. It is designed to test all techncial roles, e.g. apprentices, engineers, designers and scientists. This assessment is recommended for predicting how well a candidate will work with plans, sketches, designs, dimensions, processes, tools, machinery and understanding logical systems.

How it Works

Any organisation can buy access to these tests on a pay-as-you-go basis; we want to make is as simple as possible for your organisation to assess candidates. We send test invitations to the candidate email addresses you supply us with and the candidates then complete the test online (or at a PC in your workplace). Each candidate's test performance is analysed by our trained professionals then we email you a profile report for each candidate.

Each profile report presents the candidate's test performance relative to a relevant norm group so you can see where their results sit relative to a similar population. The whole process is quick and easy. During working hours the turn-around time between placing your order and the candidate receiving the invitation email is usually less than three hours. After the candidate has completed the test you receive their report by email usually within three hours. If you have a rush-job we can usually accommodate you so give us a call.

Research has shown that candidates who score highly in these aptitude tests go on to perform well in the workplace. In fact, the correlation between scores in this test and job performance is better than other indicators such as degree qualification. That's why companies have turned to psychometric testing to help ensure they select the right candidates.
